Overview:
MGT Resources and its 78% owned subsidiary MGT Mining Limited has taken a very positive step forward in augmenting its current tin and gold resources in the Mt Garnet district, having acquired the Mt Veteran Mill and having applied for a Mining Lease over the adjacent tenements at Summer Hill in far North Queensland.
MGT Mining has two historical mines, two advanced gold projects and several prospects on large exploration licenses over proven mineralized ground. MGT Mining has a balanced portfolio of advanced exploration gold and tin projects.
MGT is now leading the resurgence of tin mining around Mt Garnet, including the refurbishment of the Mt Veteran Plant. MGT Mining has recently implementing a new plant design by upgrading the Mount Veteran Plant to process hard rock tin ore at a rate of around 50kt p.a.
The Company is planning further upgrades of the capacity within the next three years.
